These Terms govern your use of the embrs app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. embrs is operated by Christopher Li ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use embrs, and able to form a binding agreement.

2. Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under it.

3. Your content and responsibilities

You own the content you create (notes, photos, and details you record about people). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the app for you. You are responsible for the information you record about other people and for using the app lawfully. Do not use embrs to harass, harm, or unlawfully collect information about anyone.

4. AI features

embrs uses AI to generate titles and tags for your notes, turn a story you submit into suggested person-card details, and interpret voice commands. Suggested details can be inaccurate or incomplete and are shown for your review before saving. AI features are provided "as is."

5. Subscriptions and billing

embrs may offer an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features. If you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering, no attempts to breach security or access others' data, no automated abuse of our services, and no unlawful or infringing content.

7. Termination

You may stop using embrs and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

embrs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
